New for 2012! Marine Mud Run Tshirt Design Contest
Here’s your chance to design the next official 2012 NC Marine Mud Run t-shirt!
The Grand Prize:
The winning design will be the official 2012 NC Marine Mud Run t-shirt design. It will be featured on over 2500 tshirts.
Grand prize winner also receives $100 and 4 free entries to the 2012 Marine Mud Run!
Contest Guidelines
- You must incorporate the text "2012 Marine Mud Run" into your design.
- You must incorporate the date “Saturday, June 2nd” into your design.
- You must incorporate the location “Jomeokee Park – Pinnacle, NC” into your design.
- Designs may include line art and text but no photographs.
- Your design is for the front of the shirt and may encompass an area up to 10″ x 10″.
- Design may use a maximum of six colors – no gradients.
- The design must be your own original, unpublished work and must not include any third-party logos or copyrighted material. By entering the competition, you agree that your submission is your own work.
Submitting an Entry
- Digital, vector-based illustrations only. High-resolution images in .eps or .ai format are preferred. Entries in .pdf format are acceptable if not rasterized. MAKE SURE ALL FONTS ARE OUTLINED.
- Submissions are accepted from midnight January 1, 2012 through midnight February 29, 2012.
- Email your design to: contest@usmcmudrunnc.com. Put the words T-Shirt Contest in the subject line. You must include the following: Full Name, Mailing Address, and Telephone Number.
- An acceptance email will be sent within one week of receipt.
The Fine Print
- Maximum one (1) entry per person.
- Void where prohibited by law.
- Entries received before or after the submission dates will be rejected.
- Submissions will be reviewed and a winner chosen by the Marine Corps League Mud Run Committee.
- The Marine Corps League reserves the right to make changes to the winning design before printing, including changes in image size or ink color or t-shirt color.
- The Marine Corps League reserves the right to reject any submissions.
- By submitting your design, you grant permission for your design to be used by the Marine Corps League including, but not limited to, the Mud Run website, the Mud Run Facebook account, and future marketing materials.
- Contest is open to all legal residents of the United States, excluding current MCL Mud Run Committee members and their families.
- The winning design will be announced on or before April 1, 2012.
